Story behind the piece: 

The Divine Calling is a reflection on the moment destiny awakens within a person, a reminder that each of us carries a purpose waiting to be fulfilled. Using modelling paste, the artist built a heavily textured surface to embody the weight and depth of that journey. Layers of gold and bronze metallic paint, in varying shades, represent the sacred and luminous nature of such a call. With patterns, strokes, and patches woven throughout, the composition evokes both turbulence and clarity, mirroring the path one must take when guided beyond oneself. A gradual radiance toward the top of the canvas creates the sense of a tunnel leading upward - a visual metaphor for transcendence and alignment with something greater.
